First Annual CHILI GOLF CLASSIC — January 30, 2010
60 golfers swung into blasts of frigid air and putted across frosty greens while playing 9 holes of par 3's. Upper St. Clair Community Golf Course was the site of this fun event. A $10,000 Hole-in-one contest and Closet to the pin contest made this event above par! Proceeds of $1200 went to the USC Special Needs Program. Thank you to all that had fun and participated. Our prize donations were from St. Clair Country Club - Phil Newcamp Jr., Hickory Heights Golf Club - Sam Depe, Quicksilver Golf Club, and Sean Parees - PGA Golf Pro. The Upper St. Clair Recreation Center did a great job hosting this event. Look for this event again next year
Stanley Cup at SPG — June 20, 2009
The Pittsburgh Penguins had a great season and were victorious in winning the legendary Stanley Cup. Our friend, Eddie Johnston, Pittsburgh team consultant and long time Penguin coach, was kind enough to bring the cup to SPG Upper St. Clair for an afternoon of photo-ops and meet and greet with Eddie. Let’s go PENS!
